90 Years of Vision captures the idea that you have led a life driven by big ideas and you have not shirked from fighting for them. Your strength, fervor and passion for Alaska continue to inspire generations of Alaskans.
I can say that for me, you are an ideal I will strive to live up to. Whether I agree or disagree with your decisions, I can take away the knowledge that you made them with the best interest of the state at heart. I am thankful for the opportunity to have lived in your world, however briefly, and to have learned some of life’s lessons while doing so.
Governor, I think you will find that many of those who contribute to these pages are Alaskans, and global citizens, who will carry your dreams into the future. These are people who know that ideas are more powerful than money and that the strength of their conviction goes a long way.
We have encouraged folks to post their favorite stories, quotes, or memories of you. There is also space for people to add video messages that they might have, as well as photos, poems or artwork.
90 Years of Vision do not stop at 90, and this website is one way of making sure that we carry that vision for many years to come.
